I went back and watched the second to last pitch of that inning 3 times. We are lucky the batter didn’t swing because Milazzo couldn’t block a curveball that was barely outside the framework of his body. Why? Because some idiot in MLB decided it was better to catch on one knee instead of in a squat where you can move side to side to block balls in the dirt.

We’ve argued this before, and anyone that disagrees with this is flat out wrong. 4 years ago Milazzo would have blocked that ball 10 out of 10 times.
