Just when I thought all hope was gone for our country, I see the courageous young folks in Baton Rouge stand up for the U.S.A. and I couldn't be prouder than how I am feeling now.

Me too!

However, I want to take exception to one thing you wrote. It is not “courageous” to go heckle those yo-yos. It was a great thing they did. A lot of great adjectives apply. It was patriotic, it was virtuous, it was good citizenship. But courageous? No.

“Courageous” means something. It means taking big risks. It means facing danger. Too often the word is applied when there wasn’t an ounce of courage. Like they will call freed hostages courageous.

I disagree, my brother!
In today's social climate with all the cancel culture bullshite, etc. it sure is courageous for them to display pride in the U.S.A. and counter any left leaning rhetoric that so many young folks think is cool.

After J6, it is courageous to attend a political event if you’re America First.
