Didn't really like cruise and only used it occasionally on long trips on stretches w little traffic. Then I drove a car w adaptive.cruise and was hooked. Total game changer for long road trips but also useful for other highway driving. I sped up my next car purchase and moved from a standard BMW 328 to a used VW Alltrack w adaptive cruise. The adaptive cruise made daily driving back and forth 2 hrs each way on 98 much more tolerable than driving stick when we were displaced for 6 months after hurricane Michael.
