This is the series we need the bats to get going. Pitching is definitely doing it’s part, it’s time for the bats to Hot and get rolling!

Did you not watch the clutch hitting of last nights game?

We kinda scored 6 on the top team in the country. Should have been more but Travinski got fricked.

Should have also been less. It's not often that #1 gives you 2 free runs

That’s baseball. We scored 6 which is pretty good in a Friday.

It's funny because people will downvote you for posting it after a win last night but upvote you if you post it after our next loss. Scoring 6 on Fridays in the SEC should win you some games. But I don't think our offense can get too much better. White and Pearson heating up would certainly help. But Travinski and Larson are already doing about as well as we can expect. Milam, Jones, Braswell, and Milazzo kind of are what they are. Then you have a group of guys who have been given opportunities but they just haven't seized them - Neal, Kling, Brown, Frey, etc. Hard to think any of those 4 will suddenly become every day contributors at this point.
So I see some opportunity for improvement in White and Pearson but not much else. If the pitching continues this way though then that may be enough

When the talented batters stop waiting for the perfect pitch to hit a homer off of. White, Jones, and Trav just need to put the bat on the ball and get it in play and we’ll sustain at bats

Because 2 leadoff walks followed by an error gave us 2 runs. I'm not taking anything away from what the team did last night. That's part of the game. I'm just replying to the guy saying we "should've" had more bc of Trav. If you're gonna claim that then you have to acknowledge the 2 free runs

Nothing is free in baseball (ok ignore the term free pass here). Walks are an essential part of offensive baseball. A&M was aggressive last night, did nothing to earn a walk(s) and it somewhat neutered the best offense in the nation.
