Just look at how you operate on this board. You could just let everyone "marginalize" themselves with their ridiculous beliefs; instead you offer counter arguments and push back on those beliefs. Ironic how you propose to use methods you dont ascribe to.

The key, though, is not to overreact in a way that turns them into victims in the eyes of neutral observers.
When people see situations like this, they think about solutions in terms of what they would like to see and imagine that those solutions would be helpful long-term (eg “we will show these freaks what happens when you protest Israel in God’s country!!”).
Instead, we need to think about the kind of response that might pull some people to our side. So we can, you know, have power and stuff, instead of just being angry.
