And there it is….the “no one will take care of you when you get older” reason to have kids

It always makes it’s appearance

Having kids isn’t a guarantee they will care for you when you get old. Go visit a few nursing homes and ask how often the residents there get visits from family.

It may not be a guarantee, but I like the odds a heck of a lot better than if you don’t have any kids!

That’s because no one will. These DINKs just better make sure they put a lot of their disposable income in retirement to ensure that they end up in a nicer facility.

So much irony in this thread.

For the population we need more children!

But people can't afford the children!

Have them anyway!

*Parents go on welfare to afford children*

People who can't afford children need to stop having children!
