I’d get him a suit if it were me. There will be events in his life here on out where he will be expected to be in suit and tie.

I didn’t think about a nice suit, but that’s a good idea. Take him to Dillards or a local men’s store and buy a nice and well tailored and fitted charcoal suit, shirt and tie that is appropriate for a wedding, funeral, interview. Maybe even a pair of nice black leather dress shoes and a belt to match.
