Has Vitello won a NC? Come even close in Omaha?

Arizona pre Johnson-4 national titles and 16 Omaha appearances

LSU pre Johnson-6 national titles and 19 Omaha appearances

Tennessee pre Vitello- 0 national titles and 3 Omaha appearances

Do you think it’s logical to judge the two coaches by hardware?

People here will refuse to give Vitello credit for anything.

Prior to Tennessee he was at two schools with coaches that don't recruit off campus and built Omaha rosters, including the one that Arkansas made the finals with.

The bottom line is that LSU and Tennessee have a couple relatively young coaches that know what they're doing and will have both programs in Omaha competing for titles regularly.

One National Championship coach is about to be pushed out of his job. Another will probably retire in the next few years since he doesn't have the artificial advantages he once enjoyed and is finding out an even playing field is hard.

The league will never be easy. Hell the worst team in the league this year has been to Omaha 3 times under their coach.
