Glad it worked out for you. I’d say only thing is when it comes time, don’t wait. That’s the only regret I have. Golden had megaesophagus. It hit quick. Tried sitting him up feeding, tried the Sildenafil trick. It just got too bad too quick. Wish I would have let him go sooner. Paid a pretty penny to have someone come to the house and euthanize him at home to make it easier for him.

The firm pact made was immediately when it starts to crop back up it isn’t a discussion about radiation, or other treatments- it’s give her the best weekend ever and let her go

That was pretty well a non negotiable for us when even considering the option

Our vet has been kind and when we lost our other dog earlier this year she came to the house, no added fees or anything. Seeing that old man have a rough last week or two really had us adamant about no suffering in this. I hope that holds true.
