As far as I’m aware they’re not, but that story was fricking nuts. Some OPD police sergeant (I forget this scumbag’s name) demanded that anyone he busted with pot or coke or molly that they would have to bust TEN drug dealers in order to get off, or else he would throw the book at them and send them to Parchman with Daniel Cummings. Additionally (this is not OML hyperbole) he threatened to kill the college students himself if they told their parents or a lawyer about this.

Didn’t know this at the time, but one of my fraternity brothers happened to get on the receiving end of this. Pretty sure he fessed up to his parents though since I think he was smart enough to know that trying to bust 10 drug dealers is a guaranteed death sentence for a 21 year old to try and pull off alone and that it’s extremely illegal to threaten to murder someone. Then 60 Minutes came in and did the piece and he was fired for it.

EDIT: Here’s the article, and the scumbag’s name is Keith Davis who actually should have gone to Parchman.
