He's literally W/D in 3 majors in his entire career.
Exactly 1 of those W/D's was before the cut line. It was the 1995 US Open when he "hurt his wrist" on his way to missing the cut as an amateur in the 2nd round.
His other 2 major W/D's (2022 PGA, 2023 Masters) were after making the cut.

Damn, Hale Irwin was granted an exemption in 1990 and won! Wow, that amazing.
