If that’s how you wanna live your life, go ahead but that is completely against Christian living.

IMO you basically just describe the main fallacy within protestant religions.

quote:

Luther taught that salvation and, consequently, eternal life are not earned by good deeds; rather, they are received only as the free gift of God's grace through the believer's faith in Jesus Christ, who is the sole redeemer from sin

So basically as long as protestants accept Jesus as their savior they will be saved despite their actions?

Go read John 8.. Jesus tells us first not to judge others, but after he forgave the adulterous woman, he told her to "go and sin no more".

It's pretty straight forward telling us that we are all sinners, but you do have to, at the very least, make an effort to not sin. The United methodist church has been flying the pride flag for nearly a quarter of their existence. Its one thing to not condemn others, its an entirely different thing to openly promote sin.

And he also told the sinner on the cross today you shall be with me in paradise. Protestants still say you shouldn’t live in sin, but it does not say good deeds get you into heaven. Living a good life doesn’t get you into heaven. Only through christs salvation shall you enter into the kingdom of heaven
