Historically, that tends to mean you get subsidized by the feds for the first 1-3 years then you are permanently on the hook for high costs.

Some of the polls asked the question that led people to believe that Medicaid expansion would not cost MS taxpayers a dime. That obviously got more support.

The truth is, after three years, it will cost MS a lot.
