One of the worst press conferences in the history of our nation, IMO.

Here is my very sarcastic and bitter reaction to Johnson's presser, with video cued up to his time at the podium.

Let not your heart be troubled, friends. GOP is in action. They are kicking arse and taking names. Speaker Johnson tells us that people are angry - now, he doesn't come clean that people are especially angry with him - but the people are animated, they are fed up with the way things are going, with the open border that he has completely abandoned. They are fed up with the cost of living that he helped jack up with spending that surpasses Nancy Pelosi's wildest dreams. He is utterly incompetent, I mean confident, that the People are fed up with anti-semitism.

Mike Johnson is angry that Chuck Schumer, the highest ranking Jewish person ever in the US government, is not angry enough about the protests. This fine Christian man is not going to tolerate Chuck Schumer's lack of Jewish rage. No sir. Not on Mike Johnson's watch!

Mike Johnson is a constitutional scholar and litigator, and he wants you to know that he's a constitutional scholar and litigator! Now, you should not pay attention to the hundreds of billions of your tax dollars to Ukraine and other nations, the failure to pass a proper budget, and ignoring the invasion at our border. And certainly you should not focus any of your attention on the fact that he cast the deciding vote to allow the government to violate the Constitution, in violation of the Constitution, of which he is a scholar and a litigator. Instead - You should focus on these protests, says Mike Johnson.

Jewish students don't feel safe, says Johnson. So he told the Columbia president to resign because the first responsibility is the safety and security of the students - but do not be confused - that does not apply to the federal government and the safety and security of Americans and the US southern border. We must have control of the campuses, it's a common sense issue according to Johnson. But this rests in stark contrast to the border. There is no need to have control of the border. Let's be very clear about that. Our border can be disregarded. It's Ukraine's border that is most important. And Columbia's campus.

You should understand that he believes the Congress must work together. Of course, that translates to Democrats getting everything they want, but that is still working together, apparently.

Johnson is not worried about a motion to vacate, he is laser focused on getting the job done - for Democrats. He wants to make you aware of that. He is laser focused. Like a cat. He's a principled, conservative Republican and you should not let a Democrat agenda persuade you otherwise. He has not abandoned who he is just because he's a subsidiary of the Democratic party. That would be an entirely inappropriate conclusion.

Johnson is serious. It's a serious time, jack!. The world is on fire and he's going to do the job that the Framers intended for Congress - he did not cite the provision, however, in the Constitution that allows Congress to cast votes in opposition to the Constitution, but nonetheless, he is busy on doing the job that the Framers had in mind for Congress, assuming the Framers wanted Congress to betray the nation.

This masterpiece is all set up below so you can watch this intrepid patriot say these things yourself. Just think where this nation might be without Mike Johnson. I mean, we may have slowed down the invasion, helped Americans in East Palestine or Maui, or reduced the size, scope, and spending of the federal government. No...Mike Johnson is a man among men, and he stood firm to insure that Ukraine has money for its border that will be laundered to Zelensky and DC and he made sure we have record spending, a growing federal government, warrantless spying on every American, and that you can buy less tomorrow than what you can buy today when you need to buy food for your family. And he is focused, like no other human, on making sure that the Columbia university campus is safe for Jewish students, even if that means he never attends to the US border or our national interests. You have his word. More importantly, you know a man by his actions, and Mike Johnson has acted.
