Who teaches the golf swing that is least stressful on the back?

Chris como is probably the most famous guy, has worked with Tiger and Jason Day. Day has been playing seemingly injury-free for years after his back problems but he had to completely change his swing. A big key is to actively drop your hands down on the downswing so you don’t have to use side bend to get the club down to the ball. Side bend and risk of future back problems best exemplified by Joaquin Niemann. Swings like Day, Rose, Aberg are good examples of swings that minimize it. Day and Rose rehearse the arm lowering before every shot if you notice

Zalatoris’ new swing still had some side bend in it and overall didn’t look that much different than his old one, which made me think this might happen. He’s going to have to make bigger changes.

Major developments in the world of spine surgery is about 2 yrs. away from becoming mainstream in the US. Zalatoris has had the Band-Aid surgery better known as a microdiscectomy...Tiger had 4 of these band-aid surgeries before having an ALIF at TBI. Yes, it is a fusion and a big operation which causes adjacent level disease in 5-10 yrs. time (leading to possible fusion at adjacent level) less if you're a professional golfer bounding 100's golf ball a day on the range. The future in spine surgery is not fusion but motion preservation ..disc replacement (4 companies have commercial devices on US market) and total joint replacement for the lumbar spine(3Spine). Will has to make some big decisions as his back is jacked up and his future as a world class golfer is in jeopardy.
