She's getting that degree because she doesn't really have to work for a living. In reality, there's nothing special about the Ivy League. They have higher test scores, but they also have rich parents who gave them a headstart with above average IQs and every advantage possible in terms of education. That Ivy League degree only puts a nice big bow on their privileged life.
Of course, they'll continue to look down their nose at the rest of the us and laugh at us for having gone to a state school in the South. frick every one of them. The chickens always come home to roost, eventually.
