I have recently explored this dynamic with a woman on an intellectual and practical level and it's kind of lit a philosophical and low intensity sexual fire. So, I could talk for days. But here's the gist-it's an ancient dance that respects our human nature and requires loving submission on her part and gentle and accepting dominance (or leadership if you prefer) on his part. MUCH harder to achieve than to discuss. Can the woman properly submit? Will the man be appropriately accepting and loving so that she feels secure? Will her feminine insecurities kill it? Will his masculine harshness kill it? So, I think someone like me would approach it from a very INTENTIONAL angle, spell things out, make the expectations clear.
For instance, when she inexplicably unravels will he be weak and rage, or will he be strong and pull her in closer and make her feel secure? Will she be submissive enough to elevate the peace he needs above her need to always deconstruct her emotions? These are very worthwhile goals that get that masculine-feminine good energy circle spinning. I see it as a circle, her femininity feeds his masculinity which feeds her femininity which....
