If he'd done this in Mississippi or Arkansas it wouldn't even be a story. You'll have to pardon my lack of outrage.

I agree. The pics that's the main kicker here cause I'm thinking her parents found out. Even if she was at the AoC, I'm assuming AoC only cover actual in person physical acts and not sexual communication, including pics, if one is under 18 but AoC+? I guess it doesn't cause I've read stories of teens the same age getting in trouble for sending each other stuff.

That’s one reason this is kinda silly to arrest someone for.
Here’s another. A 19 yo can’t be with a 16 yo, but as soon as she turns 17 every swinging dick is fair game? How does that make any sense? Wouldn’t a 40 yo banging her in a few months be a bigger problem than what these two teenagers were doing?
Idk the solution but the status quo is illogical.
