I mean, if you don't actually want a clean living environment then I guess they are ok. I actually want to get dirt, dust, and pet hair collected into a HEPA rated filter bag and thrown out of my house so my vacuums are a 1995 Kirby and a commercial-grade hard surface vacuum.

Actually it’s just the opposite. We are extremely clean. We want something that keeps the house reasonably clean between weekly deep cleaning. That cuts down on the time it takes to do the deep clean.

Dont they vacuum up dirt and it is contained, then you can dump it out? I understand they may not be the most thorough, but they definitely do something.

I am in the market as well, we have a dog and super dark floors, dustmopping 4-5 times a day in the kitchen area gets old, old.
