Riley has at least hit the ball hard lately. Just bad balls in play luck. Not sure what the frick Ronald and Olson are trying to do. They've been staring at or fouling off a lot of hittable fastballs.

When Riley makes contact, the ball is jumping off the bat. He still is striking out waaaay too much for my liking.

Ronnie and Olson seem all kinds of fricked up in the head right now.

I really hope Olson isn't staying in the lineup because of this BS iron man streak that he's on. He and Ronnie could each use a day off.

Our starting pitching has also quietly been excellent. Nice to see Fried back on track the last couple of starts.

Everyone has seemed to level up since Strider went down, which is awesome to watch. I'm just not sure how sustainable it is by the time the dog days of summer get here, considering we have a 40 year old, a 36-year old coming off a 5-year bout of chronic injuries, a converted reliever who already has reports surfacing about managing his innings and a 5th spot in the rotation that has a carousel of some talent, but a lot of unproven guys.

#Braves hitters had 14 strikeouts with 3 hits and 1 walk tonight, including Acuña's second consecutive 3-strikeout game and 9th multi-strikeout game in 27 team games.

Last season, Acuña had only two 3-strikeout games all season and 10 multi-strikeout games in 159 team games.

Feel like this is always going to be true for him

Its not, but neither are the offensive slumps (or, to be fair, Ozuna's red hot streak)
