I love that the fanbase has arrived at “getting swept out of the first round is actually a good thing” in our cycle of depression

The biggest difference between OKC and us are:

1. SGA is healthy. Our star is hurt.
2. They have a modern big. We don't.
3. They play a modern NBA game. We don't. They flop. We don't. They use the refs to their advantage in being physical when it's not called. We don't.
4. Their coach is not inept.

The first 2 are hard. Zion has had bad injury luck. The big modern one is also hard to find.

The rest is easy, with a few personnel changes and a new coach.

I started a thread early in the season saying this team would likely need to be blown up.

The worst scenario for us would have been a competitive first round series, paying BI 250 million and Trey 150 million and thinking everything was great and we just needed small moves.

We don't need small moves. We need to make MOVES.

The 49 wins was fools gold. We beat up a lot of bad teams, and a lot of good teams missing players. When we played good playoff teams at full strength, we got our nuts kicked in
