I was at LSU in the 00's. I don't remember seeing much PC culture back then. In fact the opposite. Though I assume my college experience was vastly different than those who went to big coastal universities.

I think social associations make a huge difference.

If a person spent all their time around Greek life and CEBA for your 4 years at LSU, then I could 100% see them missing it.
