What sticks out to me is the whooping and hollering because the dementia ward escapee announced he signed a bill to “protect Ukraine with the money they need…”
I very much doubt that the most pressing issue in the mind of a soldier maimed during the pointless 20 year occupation of Afghanistan is funding yet more endless war in the hinterlands of Eastern Europe.

Telling some wounded vets he is helping out a foreign army instead of what they need. While looking the wrong way.
