It’s repulsive. The problem is that she and the FBI are disputing the authenticity of that entry. Since all we have are images of the diary, we have to trust those who can examine it to tell the truth. I don’t see that happening in either direction.

Those who believe he did it will be told that the entry was made up, and those who think it’s fake won’t entertain the idea that it might be real. And the FBI has tarnished its reputation so badly now that half of the country won’t believe anything that doesn’t confirm what they want to hear.

We’re pretty much screwed as far as the federal DOJ goes until/unless it can regain some credibility, and I don’t know if that’s going to happen.
