Why the hell would anyone want to go to the NFL draft?

... Especially on day 3?
Does this look like fun a fun time to anybody?

I thought the exact same thing.
Super Fans
Maybe want a chance to be on TV?
Likely doing it for likes on the Gram and BookFace and general internet clout and watercooler talk
I think it's weird

It's brutal enough on tv. Being there seems extremely awful

So you can yell “Let’s Go!” when your team drafts a player you didn’t know existed.

If I had a parking or party hookup, I probably would have gone. Otherwise, I wasn't going to deal with the hassle of just getting there. I think the shuttles downtown had long waits. No way would I wait two hours to get on a bus.
A couple of people I work with went. One lives downtown and said it was miserable -- two hours to get in and two hours to leave. She said there was no food, only alcohol. Her highlight was that she went to a bar afterward for food and ran into Kamala's cuck husband with his Secret Service detail.
The other was a guy who loved it. But, he is kind of a low IQ Lions/NFL superfan.
I wonder if the league puts up those superfans for each team. I am wondering where the heck everybody stayed after you consider all of the media and other people that were in town. It would be a pain to commute in each day for it.

NFL is probably paying them for tv.

It's absolutely miserable looking. What's the point? Especially the losers mid crowd way back.
I dont understand why people support anything NFL related

If the draft were in shreveport this weekend, I’d be at it

Paid actors, especially on Day 1. Everyone is now excited when "their team" makes their first pick. You no longer get shots of fans being disappointed.

It's Detroit. What else is t here to do? Get shot or go to a free party?

Day 1 looks like a blast honestly
But definite pass on Day 2 & 3

It is Detroit after all.. what else is there to do?

I went earlier today. It was a blast. Tons of things to do. There was NFL experience things where you can play games and take pictures with things like jerseys and Super Bowl rings. There was players signing autographs. Merchant shops selling gear of all of the teams. There were food trucks and live music. We didn’t even watch one draft pick happen, we were just doing all of the activities going on.

What are you doing today, Jack, that’s so damn fun?

Excuse to go to the Detroit casinos- best in the Midwest

Think of the dumbest person you know, 80% of people are dumber than that person.

Maybe they set up a huge bar crawl with the draft in the middle or every nearby bar was running draft day specials with live music or something.
Otherwise idk

Grown men decked out in makeup and team gear at the draft is fricking cringe.
It’s bad enough people do that for a game, but for the draft when after the first round they usually have no idea who the player drafted- just awful.

If it was on my hometown, I’d go check it out.
There’s probably other stuff to do out there
