For me the worst part about this story is that it's an indicator she has poor instincts on a national scale. I had hunting dogs as a kid. Been there and done that. But she wasn't discussing this with a bunch of hunting dog enthusiasts. That was a self inflicted wound and those are the worst.

Does anyone think she is a serious VP candidate?
If her goals are to stay in South Dakota, this story is a non-issue.
If she wants to go national, she has way more problems than killing a dog.
