It makes the Falcons look even dumber. Assuming "per sources" is real, the Falcons had a willing trade partner(s) to trade down, get a later first rounder this year, and a first round 2025 pick.

Exactly.

Terry Fontenot just signed his own resignation. The best way to move forward is to trade Penix to one of those willing parties. What a fricking waste of draft capital. Utter waste.
