We are going to weld a towing hitch to the travel trailer's frame and brace it with some angle gusset types of support. I've welded enough structural things at this point that I'm comfortable with the welding part of it. I wanted to cut the tongue and add an extension for a platform for a 4 wheeler, but I was overruled on that one. The camper is a small camper at maybe 12-14' long and the trailer is a 12' trailer behind it. We're going to weld it up and do a test run around the neighborhood and see how it goes. I plan on driving the speed limit and not a mph over on the trip.
On and the route is limited to Texas and Arkansas. Both states allow tandem trailers.
