They make it sound ridiculous, but the math doesn't add up. 9 million divided by 250k is 36 days. So is the place rarely open, or does it actually rarely see 250k in one day?
I hate lines for anything, so I would probably just glance at it in the distance walking by if there was a crowd. More likely the case is that I will never see it in person, don't care to.

I think a busy day at the louvre is like 25 or 30k. no idea where that 250k comes from, whomever wrote that probably just made it up.
