From your calculations? Why were you even considering anything but the most expensive childcare locations? You don't want to skimp on childcare, do you?

We could not afford the most expensive childcare. Our kids did not attend St. Martin or Country Day daycare for $26,000/year. We paid probably the average rate for daycare, which is around $1,000/month.
