This is what most governors do in most states
These are our universities.
I rather an elected official who is held accountable by the voters, to be in charge of my state-funded university, than unelected Commie scum who dominate our higher education in America
And you idiots are falling for propaganda written by socialist “journalists”
“Darn Landry, an elected official, trying to appoint our supervisors!”
“We want our supervisors chosen by commies!”

Lost in your discussion of university boards, is that Landry is also pushing to have unfettered appointment of 7 of 11 members of the Board of Ethics.
The board that oversees campaign finance regulations and conflict of interest violations. What could possibly go wrong?
