Wage increases have not kept up with inflation or cost of living and university costs have skyrocketed compared to inflation since the boomers. Boomers are just as dumb on this subject as they are learning to use a smartphone.

I’m all about calling out laziness but to compare the times now to back then is absurd. But boomers still do it.

Edit: sure. Downvote. Literally everything I said is a fact. Blame it on worthless majors… that’s dumb too. My brother paid $170k for a petroleum engineering degree and another $80k for an MBA. His house cost $700k. He makes $110K. Compare that shite to 1960 and get back to me.

It's hilarious (and instructive) that on one hand, you're whining about boomers having too much, being too hard to compete with, and on the other hand you're calling them dumb.

It's actually the younger guys comparing today to decades ago. Not boomers. I don't remember a single thread on this board about boomers whining about how hard they've comparatively had it.

Life gets better and easier over time. That was true when I was your age, and it's still true today.

A petroleum engineer with an MBA only making $110K is either dim AF or made up.
