Whoever her attorney is will argue that she's had no issues staying out of trouble while the appeal has been pending, so if a new bond needs to be set, it should be set at an amount she can afford. What that might be, I have no idea, and what the judge will actually do, I further have no idea. All points to watch.


So if she posted a surety bond before and went through the trial and all of that, she now has to potentially put another up?

Generally speaking, a commercial surety is a one off. Think of it less like general insurance and more like insuring a single event. Once that event has occurred, your insurance is done, even if that event needs to be done over.

If she made a cash or property bond, she can just put it up again. If she went surety, then most likely, she would have to post it again.
