As a songwriter, sure, not as a guitar player.

I see bear linked While My Guitar Gently Weeps. He has great tone on that song, but it's not anything to the point where he all of a sudden becomes a virtuoso on guitar. They should have got the guy who played it in the studio to do it, since Prince basically played the same thing.

Well, I don't know what to say.

In Rolling Stones list of Top 250 Guitarists Prince is in the picture at the top.

Is the The Greatest? No.

But he was one of the best.
