I don't like Longhorn. Their food is cooked in a way that I don't like. Most of their steaks are cooked on a grill the way they do at McDonalds. Only one kind of steak is cooked on an open flame. I once ordered the baby back ribs and I was very disappointed. The ribs were not cooked on an open flame. The ribs were tender but they didn't have the flavor of ribs. They tasted like they were boiled until tender and covered with BBQ sauce. They didn't have the flavor of good baby backs. The only thing that was good was the baked potato and the mac and cheese. When I lived in Montgomery, my friend enjoys eating at Longhorns so I was the one that ate there with him. The food isn't bad but I like steaks that are cooked over an open flame. When I moved back home two years ago my neighbor asked me to go to Longhorns for lunch. We went to the one in Denham and it was exactly the same as the one in Montgomery. TBH, I really enjoy their shrimp that is cooked in a butter sauce. I really enjoyed Western Sizzler. Their steaks were better than what you get at Longhorn.

A few years ago, I frequently would go to the Outback when I worked in Hattiesburg. Good steak. Went to the Longhorn in Lafayette about a year ago and their steak was surprisingly good.
