Flathead Willys 4 cyl. motor, wipers turn by hand, relatively simple to disassemble, blackout lights, gun rack (not bolted on in this photo), etc.

Now that's a fricking jeep. My uncle has an early 50s model. Love those old flat fenders

The YJ was the last model to come with those same style bumperettes, which I always thought was kind of cool (even though I ditched mine years ago).

I think the WWII museum has a display that shows how they came in crates ready for assembly right off the boat. Pretty neat.
