You're not into history are you. Here's a tiny hint: Okinawa (pop. 500K) saw 150K civilian deaths. i.e., Nearly 1/3rd of the population. Japan's population was SEVENTY-ONE MILLION (71,000,000). Okinawa-level deaths, suicides, etc. would have resulted in 21,300,000 civilian deaths, as opposed to the 200K-300K killed in the ABomb blasts.

I have images burned into my mind of people jumping to their deaths from the cliffs in Saipan. The average Japanese citizen had been so indoctrinated with anti-American propaganda that people were committing suicide rather than being rescued by the American military. The invasion of the home islands would’ve been the single worst thing to happen to the Japanese people. War is hell but the bombs saved millions of lives. As has been noted here in the past we are still using Purple Hearts to this day that were made in anticipation of an invasion. Our side knew what the cost would be and some of us definitely wouldn’t be here now had an invasion been carried out.

There ya go.

Goobermint Propaganda and mis/dis-info is the common thread of all societies that break.

It's also how all gubmints create fanatics. It's also used to Divide and Conquer.

WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.
