Conservatives should embrace the self-sufficiency of solar

I've had this belief for a while. With the advancement of lithium batteries, in theory, you can be individually energy independent. With the right amount of money, land, and planning you do not need to buy fuel or have an energy provider for the rest of your life.

That was our goal when we bought land in Montana. We now have solar and rainwater collection systems that give us all we'll ever need.

We bought a new travel trailer a few months ago that gives us the same, but now we're mobile. It has water generation that gives us 4-5 gallons of filtered drinking and cooking water a day. I'd also like to get grey water recycling set up so we can stay off-grid even longer.

I have 109 acres and cows. When the come out with an electric tractor that I can get on at daylight, work it all day long, come in at dark and recharge it in 15 minutes I'm in. Until then, I will stick with diesel.
