What is your point with this? The only thing in common is that Israel forced both groups to move. This was a carrot offered to Gaza but in exchange they just surrounded and blockaded the place from there on out. They didn’t want their citizens in there anyway. I don’t know what meaningful resettlement has been done in the West Bank, all the settlements still exist and are still growing.

The difference is that in 1948 the Israelis forcefully and illegally drove the Palestinians out of their homes (in territory granted to Palestinians in the UN partition plan).

Agreed. That is such an disingenuous argument. Why would the few Jews remaining in Gaza or West Bank want to stay there as a second class citizen, when Jews from around the world were migrating to Israel?
