$1200 for clubs or $1200 for clubs and lessons?

Personally, I think $1200 is overkill for a beginner. Spend a few hundred dollars on some used clubs and get some lessons, dial in your swing, dial in your putting etc. If you are still loving golf after a year, you will know enough to be able to buy some nicer clubs that fit you.

One of the reasons I suggested Schneiders is cause he has some used sets for sale in there that you can try out before you buy at a pretty reasonable price. Facebook is littered with clubs that are a few years old but still work perfectly fine and are not very different than the latest stuff.

Try to figure out what flex best fits you, then look for any for any of the major OEM game improvement irons on Facebook market place or pawn Shops. I see full or mostly full bags all the time in the 6-700 range and they’re quality items. Just maybe 3-5 seasons old.
