I had a pick set.
The issue is the switch/sensor location. Due to the final position (original install) it was impossible to get anything to depress the 2nd tab without inadvertently pushing the white tab back down.
I managed to accidentally break off the white tab which allowed me access to remove it.
Diagram location. You have a 3-4” gap between the engine and firewall to contort your hand around to touch it. I just had bad luck on final resting spot of the two things I had to slide/depress to remove the plug.
