I live 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach. Murrells Inlet is just a few minutes south and has several great seafood restaurants right on the marsh.
Pawley’s Island has Brookgreen Gardens and several local shops.
It is a few minutes south of Murrells Inlet.
Keep going South and Georgetown has their historic front street. Has Several local shops and restaurants along with a couple museums. Keep going South for about an hour (depending on traffic), then you got Charleston. If you want to do some adventuring, that would be the place to go.
