He made light of someone asking if he was intentionally calling balls in reference to LSU's high number of walks. The implication is that he was calling balls that directly resulted in a walk

That’s not what I was asking. His pitch calling is suspect and repetitive. Missing the spot and calling the same pitch over and over again certainly doesn’t help the kid.
The situational pitching and bullpen use is also confusing at times.
