A new one I've been noticing a lot is the use of "it's." Instead of saying, "there's a big arse dog in the back yard," they'll say, "it's a big arse dog in the back yard."

I haven't seen that one.

But an old one Jim Hawthorne used to use was "set" for "sit". "He's just settin' there at third base".
