Not as small as you’d think.
Louisiana’s PSAT cutoff ranking (which ranks the top 1% of test scorers in the state) came in at #27 nationally in 2023. That was above states like Wisconsin, Alabama, Utah, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Vermont.
Our best and brightest stack up favorably to other states.
It’s the bottom half, in particular, that’s the anchor.
