Almost everyone from my high school that went to ULL either didn't get into LSU or had very close family ties to Lafayette.
Tech is a legitimately good school though. It's not as big as LSU, but it's similar in that they have a handful of very competitive programs.

Same…everyone in my class that went to UL either didn’t get into LSU or were really only going to college for the party.
