Even if it wasn't done recently, I'm trying to figure out at what point was Willie doing so great at his job that we felt it necessary to give him an extension...

We have like the 2nd or 3rd most wins in franchise history this year, don't we?
If we were in the East, we are the 3 seed. We may not make the playoffs in the West with the same record.

I’m going to guess it happened in December 2022 (since the Nola.com article says it happened last year), when Zion was playing like a beast and we were at or near the top of the West. If it happened any other time, it makes even less sense.
