You are 100% correct about Covid impacting the dating scene people don't go out as much and when they do they are glued to their iPhone etc.
People were glued to their phones before Covid, but the social dynamics has changed since Covid and I don't get it. It seems like there is a lot more bullshite you have to worry about and maybe people have realized you can find ways to entertain yourself for cheaper at home than to have to go out all the time, but it is weird how there is this pre-covid/post-covid change.
When things first shut down and everyone thought it was going to be for about a month at first, if that was the case I don't think it would have had an impact on people, but when it started to become clear that it could be a long time, I think it started to break people by the end of summer, maybe earlier.
I remember that summer just wanting shite to get back to normal. And then when things started to open up, it wasn't really "normal". There were limitations on how many people could be in a place.
But it seemed like that would have made dating somewhat easier. A lot of people shacked up, a lot of people should have been good and horny.
