Very sad what that city has become
I agree. Back in the 1980s New Orleans was a beautiful city where you could go on nice long moonlit walks in pretty much any part of town. I miss those days a lot smh.

Right. I miss those moonlit walks through the Desire housing project back in the 80’s. Hanging out with my brothers and sisters sipping on a cold Colt 45. Seriously though, New Orleans has pretty much been a killing field since the early 90’s apart from a little reprieve after Katrina. No one seems to have the will to do anything to make it better.

Back in the 50’s and early 60’s men used to wear suits and woman dresses to go to Canal Street and the Quarter.
Now you have to wear a bullet proof vest and get out before sundown.
The place is disgusting.
