What is he supposed to do? The PSLF program was a congressional act and it's part of the loan contract. He's fulfilling his side of the bargain.

As with most things, you have an incredible lack of knowledge shown by uneducated workers on boards like this, and on the other end of the spectrum you have scammers/freeloaders/loud people on social media, but the 80 percent in the middle are educated, understand the program, realize they gave up income and worked in sectors others didnt, etc. It's the same for most programs.

Doesn't matter who conjured it up. It's theft from people who didn't take out the loans, including those who won't even be born for decades.
